Going Zero

Read

A tech billionaire named Cy Baxter has built FUSION, a system that stitches together every camera, phone, card swipe, and database in the country and claims it can find anybody. There’s a $90 billion CIA contract riding on whether it works. To prove it, he runs a contest: Ten ordinary Americans get two hours to disappear and thirty days to stay gone, and anybody who lasts collects three million. One picks a storage locker. One builds a false room in his house. One tries to vanish into the homeless. And then there’s Kaitlyn Day, a Boston librarian picked as the easy kill, who keeps not getting caught, and who is very obviously not just a librarian. What she actually wants out of Baxter she doesn’t say until day 28.
