SPLOOT

The posture an animal assumes when lying flat on its belly with hind legs stretched straight out behind — a full-body pancake, belly pressed to the floor. Corgis made it famous. Cats, squirrels, bears, and frogs do it too. The position stretches the hips, cools the belly, and looks like the animal has melted.
Etymology
Probably a blend of splat and splay, imitating the flat, spread-out appearance. Internet slang, associated with DoggoLingo, in use since at least 2012.
