binky

BINK-ee

A spontaneous leap of joy performed by a rabbit — a vertical jump with a midair twist of the hindquarters, sometimes the head, sometimes both. A binky happens in a fraction of a second and means exactly what it looks like: the animal is happy.
Etymology
Origin uncertain. Possibly sound-symbolic, or from the rabbit character Binky in Matt Groening's comic Life in Hell (1977). In common use among rabbit keepers since at least the early 2000s.
